It’s not just the sets though, lots of props from the film including the more than 210,000 coins which were created for the Deathly Hallows films alone will be there, along with two of the films’ horcruxes: the Sword of Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff’s Cup. Visit the set where some of the films’ most memorable moments take place – from Harry’s first experience of Wizarding money with Hagrid in film 1, all the way up to the one of the most dramatic scenes in the series where Hermione (disguised as Bellatrix Lestrange) and Ron break into Bellatrix’s vault. The new area will include that iconic marble pillared entrance, the decadent entrance hall where Harry has his first encounter with grumpy goblins and even the Lestrange family vault.
This expansion will be the Tour’s biggest ever, even outstripping the incredible Forbidden Forest development which opened in March 2017. The Warner Bros Studio Tour has been a mecca for Harry Potter fans since it opened in 2012 and, from April, there’s another huge new reason to pay your first visit or even to visit again! Yesterday, January 29 th, The Warner Bros Studio Tour announced that it would be expanding to include the original 16,500 square foot set of Gringotts Wizarding Bank!
